About our President
Ann Marie Arzt
began her special
events career at Glenkirk in 1989, where she served as Director of Special
Events and Public Relations for the Northbrook, IL social service agency.
In addition, she served as Public Relations Director for the Lake County
Races, and also worked as Special Events Manager for the National Easter
Seal Society in Chicago.
eginning in 1995, Ms. Arzt
served as Director of Special Events for Bloomingdale's at Old Orchard
Center. While in this position, she was responsible for the grand opening
of the company's Skokie, IL location, including the development of a
multi-faceted public relations campaign. In addition, she created "The
Shopping Benefit," an annual event involving over 65 Chicagoland charity
organizations. Now celebrating its seventh year, the Bloomingdale's event
has raised over $750,000 for local charities. In addition, Ms. Arzt
teaches public relations and marketing courses at Oakton Community College
in Des Plaines, IL on a selective basis.

A 1985 graduate of the University
of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Degree in Journalism, Ms. Arzt is an active
member in the Publicity Club of Chicago and North Shore Women in
Development.
